The present Department for Agricultural Technique and Melioration was established out of Department for Agritechnique which experienced crisis during Patriotic war and stoped it´s activities after majority of scientiest left. We work to establish new space and future facility of the Department, as well as new staff to become a ground for even better Department.
Head of the Department and the Manager of "Little" seed processing are supported-financed out of Governmental budget as a part of Ministry of Science, Education and Sports.They are associates at scientific projects supported by Ministry of Science, Education and Sports. The rest of the Department gets it´s budget by seed processing service, especially high category seed and other agricultural cultures of the breeding departments: Department for Breeding and Genetics of Maize; Department for Breeding & Genetics of Small Cereal Crops, Department for Breeding and Genetics of Industrial Plants, Department for Breeding and Genetics of Forage Crops, also when needed seed processing service towards other firms. Because sophisticated work the Department has only 1 employee permanently and 3 sesonal employees. The future planing is to finance the Department from different projects and agreements ( contracts) with Agriculture, consulting and various intellectual services.
