Training session for winter wheat phenotyping using UAV and LITERAL in Avignon, France 3rd December – 4th December 2024 – 12th December 2024

Members of the NET4DINAR project, Vladimir Aćin and Marko Ivić, participated in a training session on December 3–4, 2024, in Avignon, France, hosted by Hiphen. The main objective of training was to obtain skills in using new methods for high-throughput fast phenotyping. These methods are trial imaging with UAVs and LITERAL to acquire RGB and multispectral images from which we monitor crop growth, measure vegetation indices and plant density and even evaluate percent of leaf disease. The training provided valuable insights into advanced technologies for precision agriculture. Training was led by Adrien Vielix for UAV and Rafael Benicio for LITERAL


Planting in pots for rain-shelter – 21st November 2024

Selected wheat germplasm was planted in pots for later growing and testing for drought in rain-shelter in Osijek.


The first kick-off meeting of the members of the NET4DINAR project team accompanied by Mr. Toni Žufić from the UŽRI agency was held in Osijek on 23rd September 2024. – 23rd September 2024

We have introduced ourselves with the on-going project activities and discussed about the details relevant for future activities and reporting. During the meeting, the team members roles and responsibilities were clarified, and project scope, timelines, milestones and key deliverables were overviewed. In addition, some financial reporting technicalities were explained.
